ABC of NC Book and Author Reception
On Friday, September 9 from 5:30-7:30pm, ABC of NC will host a Book and Author Reception featuring John Donvan and Caren Zucker, authors of In a Different Key: The Story of Autism. This FREE special event for friends of ABC of NC will be held at the Children’s Museum of Winston-Salem. Please join us for cocktails, light hors d’oeuvres, and an opportunity to meet the authors and get your book signed. Copies of In a Different Key are available through the Bookmarks store.
A Different Key provides a historical perspective on autism, and an exploration of current understanding and advocacy efforts. The authors of A Different Key have been featured on/in NPR, The Oprah Magazine, and The New York Times.
Then, make plans to see Donvan and Zucker again on Saturday, September 10 from 10:30-11:15am when they speak as a part of the Bookmarks Festival of Books and Authors. The Festival event will be held in the Mountcastle Forum (2nd Floor) – Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts.
